About Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge is one of the largest islands in Puget Sound. It’s about 12 miles long and five miles wide, making it a little larger in total area than Manhattan. Altogether, the 53 miles of shoreline encompass 28 square miles or 17,778 acres.

With Puget Sound, Seattle, and the Cascade Mountain Range to the east, majestic Mount Rainier looming at 14,411 feet in the southeast, and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains to the west, Bainbridge offers picture-perfect views every direction you look.
